Oh I totally forgot about The War of Art - so great. And yes, rituals are useful. For me, there's a self-worth component that keeps me from building rituals. I read this recently: rituals tend to be internally driven and routines tend to me externally driven. Perhaps there is some truth to this and that's what makes rituals difficult for me. Adding this to my 6MFL board: building one small ritual at a time..

I don't think I have the patience to do a coil rework like this, but I love seeing how it would work, and gearing your logic/reasoning for what would or wouldn't work for you. I'm working on my outline for my first book. I've gotten a lot done the last few days in a new 5 subject notebook and I'm happy with it so far. You and Abbie Emmons have made me feel like I can do it. I've been writing since I was 11 and as much as I have doubts over my own talent, but I'm becoming much more confident with it.

Hi Sarra! I bought your Eternal Sorrows books. The series is complete, right? It's a trilogy.

There is a quote that I printed out and framed for my desk because I kept spinning out of control and driving myself crazy - "DONE IS BETTER THAN PERFECT." At some point it just needs to be good enough to be finished.

Sounds like a vacation to remember, for sure. Can't wait to get home and print the resources for camp. I will be doing a series of 5 short romance stories (80 pg each) for camp 🏕 which i have wanted to finish FOREVER so i can get onto my new ideas after camp, a witchy series and then trying my hand with some horror ideas I've had rattling around in my head. Excited! So happy you will be done with Vanessa and onto the new fun project phase of writing, too. Always love that part ❤

Glad Andrew is okay. I remember the stress of having a child missing, my son is autistic and was a huge "runner" when he was young.

OMG-I needed to hear this today! I have stopped working on my book for over 90 days, and I just needed to hear all of this today. Thank you. I needed quiet and nothing else going on. Set a time of day to get it done. I thought I needed to have a full day to work on it. HELLO from Tennessee.

So glad you got to step away for a vacation - although you’ve had some rough spots during the trip you still managed to stay positive; you are always an inspiration for me.
